PHOTOS WANTED!

The Kitikmeot Economic Development Commission (KEDC) is looking for one photo from each Kitikmeot community to use on a new trade show booth.  The booth will be used to promote KEDC at events throughout the region and Nunavut.  We are looking for photos that show Inuit involved in some kind of business, employment, or training activity. We would like to use the best photo received from each community in our display. We will pay $250 for each photo that we select for use in our display.

To have your photo considered for display on our booth, please mail a copy no larger than 8” by 10” to Jennifer Sim at the address shown below. If you would prefer to send us a digital photo, please email a copy of your photo in JPEG format to Jennifer at: kcadmin@polarnet.ca. If anyone recognizable appears in the photos you are sending us then you must get and send us their written permission allowing you to send in the photo and allowing KEDC to use the photo on our booth if we select it.

The deadline for the receipt of photos is 5PM Friday, April 29, 2005.

The selection of photos will take place the following week.

Photos not selected will be returned to the sender.
