Residents of Cambridge Bay along with Kitikmeot Corporation and Nunasi Corporation celebrate the recent acquisition of
Fred H. Ross and Associates & Kitkmeot Supplies
and the merger of
Top of the World Travel and YZF Corporate Travel

During the festive event the parties not only celebrated with the community but also gave out many prizes such as kids bicycles, baseball gloves, t-shirts, etc. Anna Nahogaloak won a trip for two to Edmonton with accommodations at the Fantasyland Hotel included. Rosie Anayoak won the trip for two to Yellowknife also with accommodations included.
The two corporations also enjoyed a fun filled softball game that resulted in a 7-5 Nunasi victory.
Kitikmeot Corporation, Nunasi Corporation, Qikiqtaaluk Corporation, Kitikmeot Inuit Assocation and Nunavut Tunngavik Inc.
donated $1,500 each to raise a total of $7,500 for Cambridge Bay's new high school which has begun preparation for
construction. Although the fund raising event was not initially planned, the crowd clapped and cheered with excitement as
representatives from their respective organization stepped up to the microphone to announce and match each other's generosity.
Nunasi and Kitikmeot Corporation would like to specially thank the Hamlet of Cambridge Bay for providing the barbecue and
chefs for a very successful festival.
